Mumbai makes you write...

As i fight my way across the crowd and get into the Andheri-Churchgate Slow local, the faster trains zoom past me.. People standing at the doors, people running at the stations, people being left behind as my train accelerates past them.. People and people everywhere..

Life in Mumbai will always march ahead... Either be a part of it or part from it! Live it or leave it.. And trust me, it's worth living not just for one lifetime but for as many lives as you can!!

Mumbai makes you run, Mumbai makes you sweat, Mumbai makes you tired.. But atleast you're moving ahead, atleast you get a good night's sleep, atleast you feel like working when you wake up the next morning..

Why is it that i love Mumbai? Probably because everyday and every single moment spent here is a challenge in itself... And with the end of every challenge comes a feeling of satisfaction.. I see it as 100 micro-moments of satisfactions everyday rather than 100 challenges..

Some say they wish to get liberated from all this.. I say what better way to liberate yourself than to watch thousands of people work hard to achieve their dreams! They give you a motivation even God himself cannot generate!

How does Mumbai sustain all this? How do people maintain this zeal??

Just like i am doing it.. By looking at others toil like themselves.. By being assured by the fact that they are all in the same boat..

It may happen in their subconscious.. But that's the fuel.. That's what runs Mumbai.. And that is what i like about Mumbai! People and no supernatural power are the source of people's energy.. And thus it's self-sustaining..

Mumbai makes you struggle for every penny you earn,

Mumbai gets the most out of every moment you burn..

Mumbai makes you live, Mumbai makes you love..

Mumbai makes you write, even when the inks, for ages, have dried!
